Hi, I’m Lukas (he/them).
I discovered the benefits of massage for myself when I was working at a desk 40 hours a week, and I was often astonished at how much stress I was holding onto every time I got on the table. I would leave feeling lighter and more energized, and I eventually became curious about providing this experience to others. Not to mention getting out of that 40-hour situation.
I am a graduate of École Setsuko’s Swedish massage diploma program, where I was trained in a number of techniques (my favourites are Shiatsu and fascial approaches). I blend Shiatsu and Swedish together no matter if we’re working on the mat or the table; my aim is to offer a therapeutic and holistic approach that gets to the underlying sources of tension.
As a member of l’Association québécoise des thérapeutes naturels (AQTN), I am happy to provide receipts for your insurance claims. Please inquire with your insurer for details on your policy’s annual limits, coverage, and claims process. I offer direct billing for Sun Life clients (contract number and member ID required); depending on the percentage covered, there may be a balance due once the claim is submitted.
Mission
As a member of the queer community, my mission is to provide a safe space free of judgement for all body types and gender expressions. I offer an affordability discount to clients who are BIPOC, queer, fat and/or neurominoric.
